MORE ABOUT DENTAL HYGIENE

Why should I use Quayside Dental Hygiene Services?

Our hygiene team has over 25 years combined experience, having worked in dental practices all across Ireland and the UK. Our dentist Kerrie has a special interest in advanced periodontology. She is currently finishing her masters in this particular subject, this is a highly specialised and much sought after qualification enabling Kerrie to carry out advanced treatments in periodontology.

How will the hygiene team help me?

Our hygienists will provide patients with a more tailored approach to their oral health and comprehensive treatment for periodontal disease. They will help you achieve optimum oral health through education, cleaning and thorough detox of your mouth.

What happens if I need extra treatment?

Our hygienists will work within their scope of practice and carry out what they are trained, competent and indemnified to do. Where diagnosis is out of their scope of practice they will advise the patient that they will need to be referred to a dentist.
